Your role:
This role will be responsible for preparing Kinship Part B comprehensive assessments and providing support to kinship placements within the Kinship Care First Supports program. You will assess and provide family services support to newly established carers, children and young people to promote stability, safety and developmental needs.
How will we assess your application?
- Experience managing risk and wellbeing and work within the Best Interest Framework
- An understanding of how trauma can affect the development of young people
- Solid understanding of the Child Protection and Welfare system in Victoria
- Excellent written, verbal and collaborative communication skills
- Assessment skills
- Report writing

- You get a salary starting at around $94,000 plus super at full time hours.
- Pro rata to 22.8 hours per week. $47.50 per hour.
- Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.
- SCHCADS award level 5. Negotiable through the increments dependent upon experience.
