As a Case Worker you will provide effective service delivery, ensuring case management, assessment and referral, education and support are provided in accordance with TSA guidelines (within a comprehensive participant-led, recovery-based framework).
This is a permanent full-time position, based in Surry Hills, NSW.
The role you could play
Provide efficient day to day service delivery through education, interventions, group work, assessment, referral and case work within a recovery-orientated and person-led service environment.
To develop and monitor individual treatment plans and maintain case management documentation, records, reports and data collection, utilising established case planning procedures.
Develop, implement and monitor case plans, including exit planning in line with service requirements.
Deliver education and support groups in line with service requirements.
Supervise the self-administration of medication as required and record as per TSA and centre policy and procedure.
What you will bring
Minimum of Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline (AOD, Community Services, Case Management)
Completed 4 AOD Skill Set Units (or willing to undertake/complete during employment)
Demonstrated ability to deal with unpredictable situations and behaviours utilising de-escalation techniques
At least two years’ experience in recovery, if applicable
Knowledge of AOD/gambling, community services and health sectors (preferably in a residential treatment setting).
Demonstrated experience and ability to work with those impacted by substance abuse, gambling and mental health conditions
Current Drivers licence
Current NSW Working With Children Check
A willingness to undergo a National Police C
