The Principal Design Solutions will lead a team of civil designers, engineers, and surveyors to deliver fit for purpose Design Solutions on a range of Council infrastructure projects. They will promote safety in design, sustainability and application of engineering standards, while balancing appropriate levels of risk and value for the community.
The position will plan and oversee services that guarantee the community's access to transportation, water, sewerage, and other civil infrastructure. Additionally, the Principal will manage, assist, and coach the Design Solutions team.
About You
You will have tertiary qualifications in Design, Engineering, Surveying or other relevant field; combined with experience and competence in the design of community infrastructure.
It is essential that you have demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineering, survey and design professionals and the ability to produce fit for purpose design outcomes for civil infrastructure projects.
