We are seeking motivated and driven Chef or Cook to join our Catering team. As a part of our catering team you will work closely with the Executive Chef to achieve The Tradies & Quality Hotel objectives:
- Providing a memorable dining experience for our members and guests.
- Our customers recommend us to their family and friends
- Implementing quality control procedures, receiving and the storage of goods.
- Maintain high level hygiene controls.
- Completing regular stock takes.
- Communicating with various departments regarding catering requirements.
- You will be responsible for keeping the kitchen areas and store areas to a meticulous level of cleanliness.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a team player willing to help where required
- Have proven experience cooking in a commercial kitchen
- High level grill skills, able to cook steaks consistently to order
- Proven experience on pans, larder and fryer.
- Relevant training and certificates
- Ability to work without supervision
Roster Expectations:
- Casual positions available.
- Ability to work rotating roster including split shifts and weekends.
- Requirement to be present at key times during Club operations including public holidays and the Christmas period (Including Christmas day).
