Form of workThe Savvy Squire Mooloolaba is a large high end gastro pub nestled on the Mooloolaba river. We are a premium venue that offers an extensive restaurant quality menu. We have a diverse customer base that fills this big busy venue that has plenty more to come with two premium event spaces recently opened upstairs. We have a very busy kitchen and are looking for someone to join the team in a casual position to help with prep and to work in a section during service. Anywhere from 20 - 38 hours a week for the right person.
What will the role entail?
- working in a section of a busy kitchen
- Delivery high quality meals across all services
- Working the line during trade times
- Managing wastage
- Assisting with kitchen cleanliness and compliance
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Passion for food and love of hospitality
- An eye for detail and a finesse with food presentation
- A strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Experience working in larder, fryer and pizza section
