Our Seniors Living services are connected and offer a continuum of care to people living across our seven large, active, vibrant, retirement living estates with individualized care and services provided through our in-home care and service provider, RAAFA Connect or stay in one of our five warm and welcoming residential aged care homes.
RAAFA Connect is the in-home support division of RAAFA, specialising in the quality care for individuals with Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Veterans Home Care (VHC) eligibility, as well as private services, Home Care Packages and Commonwealth Home Support. RAAFA is currently seeking a Casual Community Support Worker to join our amazing, enthusiastic and caring team located in Bull Creek and its surrounding areas. About the role:
A rewarding role working with clients across the and region;
Support Clients to remain living at home;
Assist with client's personal care;
Assist clients with the management of their medication;
Assist in the preparation of meals for the clients;
Provide support to clients by assisting with shopping;
Support the clients socially and domestically while creating a positive rapport;
Encourage and promote the independence and freedom of choice of clients.
Requirements for the role:
Update your resume;
Be eligible to work in Australia;
A valid drivers licence with access to your own vehicle;
Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one;
Be up to date with your COVID 19 and flu vaccinations;
