Epiq, Australia's premium supplier of transcription services, has offices across Australia providing court reporting, e-discovery, e-trials, and transcription services for government agencies, law firms and private clients.
In order to meet the demand for our services, we are seeking skilled Court Monitors to work 3-5 days per week (Monday-Friday) in our ACT office to produce high-quality recordings and annotations of court proceedings for our major contracts. Comprehensive training and support will be provided.
Candidates with an strong administrative background, including medical and/or legal reception are encouraged to apply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Produce high-quality audio recordings of hearings
- Input and manage integrity of data in various databases
- Produce accurate and detailed annotations of hearings to aid transcription
- Liaise with court staff and key stakeholders
- Participate in ongoing training and development activities
Minimum Education:
High School Graduate
Minimum Experience:
Minimum one year office administration
Additional Requirements:
Attention to detail
Ability to work outside standard business hours when required
Current driver’s licence desirable
All candidates must have full working rights in Australia and be willing to undergo a National Police Check.
