Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs. The role:

- We are seeking casual that will lead to permanent or part time Disability Support Workers who have experience in supporting participants with intellectual support needs.
- You will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support those with medical needs and manual handling requirement to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence.

- 15+ hours per week paid employment
- Experience in Neurological and intellectual disability diagnosis.
- Aged Care background with experience with behaviours of concerns
- Providing complex care and support to participant with challenging behaviours and ability to comply individual Behaviour Support Plan.
- Ability to complete medical charts and records.
- Providing personal care, including bed bath/showering, toileting, dressing and medication administration
- Ability to recognise and understand to individual changes.
- Level of knowledge and experience in Aged Care. Ability to identify and conduct physical supports when required.
- Manual handling
- Domestic duties for a clean and hygienic environment and workplace. Cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Mandatory requirement
- Certificate III in Disability, or Individual Support or equivalent
- First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.
- Current Driver’s License (mandatory).
Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS Worker Screening check and a Working with Children Check.
