• We are seeking casual that will lead to permanent or part time Disability Support Workers who have experience in supporting participants with intellectual support needs.
• You will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support those with medical needs and manual handling requirement to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence.

• 15+ hours per week paid employment
• Experience in Neurological and intellectual disability diagnosis.
• Aged Care background with experience with behaviours of concerns
• Providing complex care and support to participant with challenging behaviours and ability to comply individual Behaviour Support Plan.
• Ability to complete medical charts and records.
• Providing personal care, including bed bath/showering, toileting, dressing and medication administration
• Ability to recognise and understand to individual changes.
• Level of knowledge and experience in Aged Care. Ability to identify and conduct physical supports when required.
• Manual handling
• Domestic duties for a clean and hygienic environment and workplace. Cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.

Mandatory requirement

• Certificate III in Disability, or Individual Support or equivalent
• First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.
• Current Driver’s License (mandatory).
