Jenny Wren Early Learning by Busy Bees is a 90 place service with beautifully designed open plan rooms and a spacious outdoor setting. Conveniently located in a quiet street surrounded by a residential community, close to the heart of Mawson and situated close to the local business community gives us an idyllic location.
Our prize-winning day care was crowned the ACT winner of the 2022 Kindicare Excellence Awards for our 9.5 rating. We were also recognised as a Finalist in the 2022 ACT Education and Care Awards for designing and delivering best-practice learning experiences that give every child the best start in life.

Essential Qualifications
- Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).
- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.
- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
- Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.
- Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.
- Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.
- Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.
- Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.
