About Cerberus: Nestled within the Navy base at HMAS Cerberus, just an hour's drive Southeast of Melbourne, is a nurturing childcare center. Set amidst the Cerberus Golf Course, this place offers various services, including long day care, kindergarten, nursery, toddler room, and pre-school. With a capacity for 54 children, it operates from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Additionally, we proudly offer a funded kindergarten program, enriching the educational experience for our young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in collaborative teamwork to create a supportive and enriching environment for children.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and children to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Demonstrate reliability by adhering to schedules and fulfilling responsibilities with dedication.
- Utilize a friendly and nurturing approach to support the social, emotional, and educational needs of children.
- Exhibit passion for early childhood education and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our programs.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Certificate III, Diploma or Working towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in childcare or education.
- Demonstrated strengths in teamwork, communication, reliability, friendliness, and nurturing qualities.
