Casual Library Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking applications from librarians with recent public library experience to join our casual pool of staff on a rostering basis. This role could see you working weekday, evening, and weekend shifts, sometimes at short notice. You will provide exceptional customer service and be self-motivated and physically fit for manual handling.

Duties:
• Meet and greet customers on arrival
• Administration duties including data entry
• Assist customers
• Library day to day operations
• System support in library programs and activities

About You:
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven recent experience working in public libraries
• Proficient in the use of Library Systems such as One Card and workflows
• Available on call at short notice
• Able to work in a team and be approachable
