Join Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firmThe Legal Technology Solutions group manages Corrs paralegals and is currently recruiting in the Melbourne office for paralegals who are available to work at least three (full) business days a week on a casual basis. We are seeking applicants who have either completed their legal studies, are in the final stages of their law degree or undertaking practical legal training. We also require all applicants to have already completed the unit Evidence in relation to their studies. This is an ideal opportunity to gain the practical experience that is required to complete admission requirements.To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, and interact with people from different backgrounds in an energetic way to achieve common goals. Previous experience in the legal industry is an advantage but not required, however you must have a track record of performing above expectations both academically and in your extra-curricular activities.Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- reviewing documents on case management databases;
- reviewing, sorting and collating hard copies of documents;
- data entry and electronic file management;
- court filing, collections and deliveries;
- undertaking tasks assigned by the legal team including research
