AddressExpressions of interest are open for casual Engineering roles available for our Oil Tanker vessel based in Sydney. The role would be on a casual basis, with varying length of engagements. If a role opens in a more ongoing basis then this may be possible also.
We are currently recruiting for a 1st Engineer with Advanced Oil Tanker Endorsement with a minimum of 2 years experience working as a 1st Engineer. Knowledge and understanding of ABS NS5 System or similar PMS and Purchasing System would be ideal along with basic knowledge of electrical and automation systems, alarm and monitoring systems.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Must have extensive experience working within similar roles onboard Oil Tankers:
Loading and discharging multiple fuel grades
In charge of tank washing
Experience with N2 systems
To be successful you MUST have the following as a minimum;
Engineer Class 1 or 2 License
Endorsement for Advanced Oil Tanker
Valid AMSA Medical
Existing and ongoing working rights in Australia
