St Vincent's Private Hospital Fitzroy is a centrally located private hospital, incorporating a large, busy and highly reputable maternity unit. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist/s with recent experience in maternity/women’s health to join our physiotherapy team on a casual basis.
ABOUT YOU NEW ROLE
Our Maternity Physiotherapist is responsible for providing post-natal physiotherapy advice and education for all post-natal admissions, and inpatient antenatal intervention on request. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of an exceptional multi-disciplinary team, to provide high quality, patient centred care.
Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Effective management of a busy clinical caseload
- Prioritisation and workload allocation
- Communication with the multidisciplinary team
The successful candidate will have:
- Recent experience in maternity/women’s health
- An ability to work independently and competently
- A commitment to high quality patient care
- Well-developed communication skills, and demonstrated experience working as part of an effective team
