About The Role

Our Brisbane Processing Centre is seeking a Technician to contribute to the efficient, sufficient and timely production and distribution of safe blood and blood products.

You’ll achieve this through teamwork, collaboration and an uncompromising focus on safety, quality and customer service, taking pride in delivering the right products, to the right places, at the right time.

A Day As a Technician Could See You

• Unpack shippers and log data into Lifeblood systems
• Process and separate blood components
• Separate and store red cells
• Freeze and store plasma components
• Load and unload the rapid plasma freezer
• Participate in standard equipment set up, maintenance and cleaning with training, supervision and support
• Maintain a high level of commitment to quality systems, quality control measures and application

• Experience working to standard operating procedures in a regulated production environment
