Company Description
Aimpoint RPL Pty Ltd is a veteran owned and operated Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 45936) and Group Training Organisation (GTO) in South Australia, with our office in Gawler. Our mission is to support veterans who are transitioning or have transitioned from the ADF to find meaningful employment post-separation from the Defence. We achieve this through targeted programs such as Recognition of Prior Learning, as well as the delivery of Traineeship and Apprenticeship Program Furthermore, we work with the Defence industry and not-for profit organisations such as Soldier On and RSL to tailor training for their needs. The business, therefore has three main arms: Training, Employment, and Consulting.
The Role:
To manage high demand periods, we are seeking a pool of casual trainers who can work virtually or at our office. Trainers will deliver training through our online learning management system and conduct assessments, including RPL, which is currently a significant portion of our student base. As a growing business, we are ideally looking for candidates willing to help develop our training programs. This role is perfect for a veteran with relevant qualifications who has experience transitioning from Defence and is seeking part time casual work to supplement their reserve service or family commitments.
Core duties envisioned include:
1.Delivery of training & assessment in either:
a.BSB50840 Diploma of Project Management
b.BSB50820 Diploma of Leadership & Management
c.TLI50422 Diploma of Material Logistics
2.Carrying out student Pre-Enrolment Interviews and Planning
3.Carrying out post-delivery activities such as trainer feedback
4.Support in the development of future training and assessment strategies to
expand our scope of registration.
5.Assist the compliance officer as required with governance and assurance
activities to maintain registration with Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
6.Engagement with stakeholders, such as client points of contact, Learning
Management System developers and relevant Industry and government bodies.
7.Support other related business activities such as delivery of training related
deliverables to key clients. For example, carrying out a Training Needs Analysis
for a client.
8.Other training and assessment related activities as requested by the CEO.
Selection Criteria:
Essential Skills
●TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher
●Qualified in either:
○BSB50840 Diploma of Project Management
○BSB50820 Diploma of Leadership and Management
○TLI50422 Diploma of Material Logistics
●Strong communication skills and experience working in a virtual environment
Desirable
●Veteran or Partner of a Veteran
●Other qualification (including WHS, Government, Procurement & Business)
