About the opportunity
Join the Youth Services team, as Youth Services Officer, where you'll have the opportunity to assist in developing, delivering and evaluating engaging programs and services that cater to the needs of young people in our community. You'll play a vital role in supporting and empowering our young people to achieve their goals and access appropriate activities and services.
What you will bring
- Tertiary qualification in youth work, social work, psychology, or relevant discipline.
- Experience in working with young people and program design.
- Knowledge of local youth issues and local/regional networks.
- Effective communication, conflict management, and networking skills.
- Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and quality service delivery.
- Some weekend and after-hours work may be required.
