About Mental Health Services at Albury Wodonga Health (AWH)
Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is established in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga, between Sydney and Melbourne. Our dedicated team of nearly 3,000 staff supports a population of 250,000 people throughout North-East Victoria and Southern NSW. Our extensive network encompasses two primary hospital campuses, and an additional 22 sites, delivering a diverse range of emergency, community, Mental Health, allied health and sub-acute services.
AWH is an Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, providing Mental Health treatment, care and support, including delivering Alcohol and Other Drugs services. We deliver 10 specialised community-based programs, along with three acute care services and three facilities dedicated to recovery and rehabilitation. We also provide services supporting families coping with parental mental illness and facilitating connections to carer consultants.
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing teams comprise Mental Health clinicians with a background in nursing, occupational therapy, social work and psychology, all of whom have experience in helping people through a range of therapies. The diversity of our service provides a range of experiences for our team and will assist you in expanding and embedding your clinical practice skills.
About the Role
The Clinical Lead is responsible for maintaining high clinical standards within the setting of a multidisciplinary Infant Child & Youth Service. The Clinical Lead provides an exemplary standard of direct Clinical Leadership, educational/training and clinical supervision from a systemic and developmental framework within ICYMHS and across the Mental Health Program. The clinical Lead supports, promotes and evaluate clinical standards and processes of the team and coordination of research initiatives to improve the Mental Health outcomes for infants, children, young people and their families. The Clinical Lead will work closely with the ICYMHS Program Manager. The Clinical Lead consistently demonstrates the core values and purpose of the organisation to ensure achievement of exceptional Mental Health care and outstanding outcomes. The incumbent will develop strong strategic relationships with identified key stakeholders both within AWH and externally. The incumbent will possess the ability to think innovatively to meet challenges and demonstrate professional leadership to achieve all performance targets and ensure the provision of high quality treatment outcomes in collaboration with clinical team across campuses

The Incentive program was designed by the Department of Health to support the attraction, relocation, and retention of Mental Health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) workers to priority positions area Mental Health and wellbeing services across rural and regional Victoria.
