About the role
We are seeking an experience Catering Assistants/Kitchenhands to join the kitchen team at our client's Aged Care facility in Casino, NSW.
- Hours of employment: 28.5 hours per week with Friday to Tuesday shifts.
- Part-time and Casual roles are available.
- Weekend and Public Holiday Loadings apply.
*The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine, and provide a current Federal Police Check certificate, or be willing to apply for one*

Skills and experience
- Aged Care experience is desirable, but not necessary.
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines.
- Empathy and respect towards Aged Care residents, staff and clients.
- The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.

- Excellent client liaison and customer service skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing meal service to elderly residents
- Cleaning of kitchen, serveries and dining room set up.
- Adhering to and completing quality assurance documents
- Washing dishes and plating of meals
- Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen
- Function set up and clear down.
- Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day-to-day tasks.
- Food and beverage service
Candidates must:
- Be Well Presented and Enjoy Working with and Serving People
- Possess Excellent Communication & Customer Service Skills
- Previous Aged Care Experience is Preferable, but not Essential.
- Provide or be willing to apply for an Australian Police Check
- Have current Covid Vaccination
