- Band 6 $131,138 plus 11% superannuation includes a loading for working 1 in 4 weekends
Healesville Sanctuary runs its own catering operations across three outlets on the property. These provide food and beverage to our 400,000 plus visitors between 9am and 5pm, 365 days each year. We host events and functions during business hours and after hours. Catering is a new business for the Sanctuary and is still in the process of settling our retail offer to visitors while we develop new opportunities. The food and beverage offer is an important part of the Sanctuary experience for our visitors. Our visitors range across all age groups, have diverse dietary requirements and include many international visitors.
The Catering Manager will lead the Catering Team at Healesville Sanctuary. They will be responsible for all aspects of the food and beverage business to provide a great visitor experience and drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess extensive experience in managing a food and beverage business
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team of culinary professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Have strong organisational skills & attention to detail
