We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cafe Restaurant Manager to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers.
Position Overview:
As the Cafe Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cafe/restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service, and managing the team effectively. You will play a key role in driving the business forward, maintaining a positive work environment, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Salary
This is for a full-time role with an annual salary between $73,000-$75,000 plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs.
- Create and execute marketing and promotional strategies to attract new customers.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Analyze financial reports, track sales, and manage budgets to meet financial goals.
- Handle reservations, greet guests, and assist in taking orders as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cafe Restaurant Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Diploma in Hospitality management.
- More than 2 years’ experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
