About the Opportunity The objective of the Catering team is to provide catering and hospitality services to Acacia prison. The role of the Caterer is responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operations of the Acacia catering Department including but not limited to: Assist Catering Manager in running the catering department in its entirety.
Allocate roles to all catering staff. Ensure all catering obligations are met in a timely manner. Efficient management of inventory & assets within catering areas at AcaciaWhat you’ll be doing Assist the Catering Manager Comply with food hygiene regulations with attention to food service equipment cleaning, work areas to include high personal hygiene standards.
Deliver consistent high-quality products, following standard recipe specifications. About you - your ideal skills & experience Certificate III Hospitality (Commercial Cookery or Trade Qualifications) Strong knowledge in HACCP principles Three (3) years Head chef experience of a large catering operation Previous administration / office work experience. Have extensive catering knowledge in safe working practices.
