Job Description:
Research, analyse, and recommend strategies for network architecture and development, implement, manage, maintain, and configure network hardware and software, and monitor and optimise performance, and troubleshoot and provide user support.
Task:
- Design, implement, and maintain computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and VPNs.
- Determine software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Adapting existing programs to meet users’ requirements
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Designing and maintaining websites
- Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers, and modems
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Network Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
