Requisition ID: REQ494352An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, or casual full-time and part-time positions.We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented temporary Administration Officers Level 2 to join our Health Information Services (HIS) team. As a crucial part of the administrative support framework, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the unit by delivering a comprehensive range of administrative and customer relation support functions. Your contributions will help achieve the department's objectives and enhance service delivery.In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating administrative systems and procedures to ensure office efficiency. This includes collecting discharged records, scanning paper medical records, operating high-volume scanners, performing quality checks, and assisting with other scanning duties as required. You will also retrieve records for inpatient and outpatient areas, process patient information requests, and follow up on outstanding records for coding. Providing effective customer service, you will handle enquiries and offer information in a responsive manner. Additionally, you will generate reports and documentation to support unit outcomes, utilise computerised systems, and potentially train other employees in the role. Your duties will involve participating in quality improvement activities and complying with all NSW Health and CCLHD policies and procedures.About You

  • You have the ability to a provide a full range of administrative and clerical support activities.
  • You have an exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow clearly outlined processes, and prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines.
  • you have the ability to work a 7 day rotational roster, including weekends and evening shifts with the ability to work at Gosford or Wyong Hospital to meet service needs if required.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and experience with an understanding of the importance of maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
Where you’ll be workingYou will be working within the Health Information Services team at either Gosford or Wyong Hospital, providing essential support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role requires maintaining high levels of organization and customer service while working with a hybrid medical record system. This position offers the opportunity to work a 7-day rotational roster, including weekends and evening shifts, to meet the needs of the service.
