A rewarding opportunity exists for a Clinical Psychologist / Clinical Psychology Registrar with Central Coast Local Health District, to provide comprehensive psychological assessments, evidence based therapeutic interventions and consultation services to individuals with mental health concerns and their families and carers, as part of the Allied Health Mental Health Team in the Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Wyong Hospital.
- Are you a Clinical Psychologist / Clinical Psychology Registrar with a passion for providing psychological assessment and treatment in an acute setting?
- Do you want to complete your Clinical Psychology Registrar Program within a multidisciplinary team with supervision from experienced clinical psychologists? or provide supervision for Clinical Psychology Masters students and clinical Psychology Registrars?

About You
- Minimum Tertiary Bachelor Degree in Psychology with AHPRA registration OR Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology with endorsement to practice as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA
OR completing Master of Clinical Psychology within three months
OR eligibility to undertake registrar program for endorsement in clinical psychology - Demonstrated experience in provision of evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment for adults with a broad range of mental health problems
- Ability to provide independent clinical judgement
Sound communication skills and demonstrated capacity to work in a multidisciplinary team environment

You will be working in the Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Wyong Hospital. The Clinical Psychologist / Clinical Psychology Registrar is part of the Allied Health Mental Health Team working alongside experienced Clinical Psychologists and a Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar.
