About the role:
This role, which sits within our dynamic Integrated Pain Service team, will see you provide a high-quality clinical psychology service to patients experiencing chronic pain. You will run multidisciplinary assessment and management in individual and group settings, as well as participating in teleconferencing with GPs in primary care.
Comprehensive training in the area of Pain Management will be provided, including induction at John Hunter Hospital - a tertiary 3 service. We highly encourage upskilling and further education and are eager to support you in succeeding within our team!

You will work on campus at Tamworth Hospital, working closely alongside our team of experienced health practitioners, including our Specialist Pain Medicine Physicians, Physiotherapists, Psychologist, and Clinical Nurse Specialist / Clinical Nurse Consultants. You will also be involved in rural outreach programs, seeing you visit sites such as Narrabri and Armidale.
About You:
We are looking for a team player, with high level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. You should be professional, efficient and have the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Requirements:
- An approved tertiary qualification: Masters or higher degree in Clinical Psychology. Applications from those nearing completion of an approved qualification may be considered.
- Full registration with AHPRA/Psychology Board of Australia (or, in the case of a psychologist nearing completion of post-graduate training, provisional registration may be accepted). Endorsement in clinical psychology or willingness to work towards same would be preferred.
- Current unencumbered driver's licence.
