Artisans of Barossa, a well know collective wine-tourism business in the Barossa Valley, is looking to fill its team. We’re looking for storytellers, experienced superstars, and everything in between.
- Waiters / FOH gurus
- Cellar Door attendants
What’s in it for you?
- Fair pay.
- An employment contract is given to every staff member.
- Weighty staff discounts on our wine.
- We’re open 7 days, from 10am. No early starts! We have a few night-time events, but no regular dinner service. No doubles!
- The roles are diverse and exciting ~ you can be pouring some of the rarest wines of the region, running a section in Essen - a contemporary, innovative interpretation of seasonal Barossa food with an à la carte menu with recommended wine matches – making Hark (air-roasted) coffee for local winemakers, or mixing long drinks at our walk-up window bar.
- Every Saturday, we have a winemaker working alongside us, pouring and storytelling, and we are on the team with you.
There is no more exciting place to work in the Barossa right now, than Artisans of Barossa.
Why? There is no better place to be totally immersed in Barossa culture and wine.
Our people work across all areas of FOH, so, if you’re strong on coffee and weak on wine, lets rebalance your skillset. If you’re a subject matter expert on Shiraz, let's expand your Barossa mindset with our emerging varietals list. Then, get your hands on our special project wines: Our ‘Grenache Project’ is peak wine geek – six winemakers, one tonne of fruit each, same vineyard. And the vineyard has changed every year since launch from the 2017.
This is your chance to get on the team at one of Barossa’s most exhilarating venues.
If you’re learning about wine, or if you think you’ve heard it all, our wine list will stop you in your tracks. Our team is chock full of WSET alumni, full-time die-hard hospo vets and some of the best storytellers in the region.
We have more Riesling, Rosé, Grenache, and Shiraz than any other wine room in the region. Not to mention, Chenin Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Negro Amaro, Aglianico, Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano & Montepulciano. We have the first Piquepoul from the Barossa. Sorry, we don’t have Moscato, but we do have Eden Valley Sparkling made from Riesling, Kerner & a splash of Gewürztraminer. We just released a 2021 Eden Valley Methode Traditionnelle Blanc de Blanc. Can you tell we’re pretty excited about our wine list?
Artisans is where you can enjoy everything that is good about the Barossa region, be it in a glass or on a plate. Alongside 100+ of our wines (served in Riedel wine glasses), we sell Rehn Bier, Greenock Brewers, and Ministry of Beer. We make G&Ts with our own gin, which is made by The Still Co. Our cheese is from the Barossa Valley Cheese Co. in Angaston. Our pork is from Gumshire Farm, and our Oysters are from Coffin Bay.
We are in the heart of the Barossa Valley, with stunning views across the Valley to the Barossa Ranges.
