As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join us in a pivotal Administrative Assistant Role.

Our Clinic is open during the following hours
Weekdays: 8am-6pm
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays: 9am-1pm

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Firle Medical Centre. This newly created role will be responsible for assisting the practice manager in overseeing the administrative operations for the Medical Centre, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and a high standard of service delivery. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the leading and supporting of our administrative team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the administrative team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
• Assist with the overseeing of day-to- day administrative operations, including
appointment scheduling, patients registration, billing and medical records
management.
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices to optimise administrative processes and workflows.
• Assist with the supervision of administrative staff, providing guidance, training and performance feedback to foster professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to streamline
communication and coordination of care.
• Assist with monitoring key performance indicators and metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards and guideline pertaining to healthcare administration.
• Serve as a liaison between administrative staff and management to facilitate
effective communication and resolution of issues.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in an administrative role within a General Practice setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulations and compliance
requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks and problem- solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Best Practice
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and service excellence.
