Address Cullen Wines, located in the Wilyabrup – Margaret River wine region of Western Australia - is a world class, biodynamic, carbon neutral estate, producing some of the world’s best wines.
We are currently seeking our next Cellar Door Manager to join our team on a full-time basis as soon as possible.
Tasks & responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the Cellar Door operation (inc. visitor experience, wine tastings & information provided about the winery’s products and history)
• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate Cellar Door staff to deliver high-quality customer service and achieve sales targets
• Drive sales through merchandising, upselling and promotion of wines, merchandise and experienced offered at the Cellar Door
• Manage inventory of wines, merchandise and tasting supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regular customers, trade customers and industry partners
• Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing regulations, health and safety standards and RSA requirements.
Skills:
• Previous experience in hospitality, retail or customer service roles (preferably within the wine industry)
• Sound knowledge of wines, wine tasting techniques and wine appreciation
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven sales and marketing abilities
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Suitable candidate will receive an annual remuneration ranging from $80,000 to $85,000 + superannuation.
The position is located in Margaret River, Western Australia and the successful applicant will be required to live in the WA Southwest region.
