We are seeking and energetic, experienced Cellar Hand to assist in day-to-day winery operations.
This job will require the successful candidate to carry out all hands-on functions in a modern winery.
Prior experience is advantageous.
Key Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Be able to follow instructions, SOPs and complete cellar notes
- Transfer wine, juice and ferments operations
- Clean as you go
- Crossflow Filtration
- Load and unload tankers
- Collecting samples from wine tanks and barrels
- Additions and gas adjustments to tanks
- Preparation of wines to meet production requirements
- Wine packaging – Bottling line duties

Skills and Experience Required
- Practical winery experience is an advantage
- Tertiary education in “Cellar Operations” or “Winemaking” is an advantage
- Experience in laboratory operations is an advantage
- Current Driver’s License (essential)
- Current Fork License (preferred)
