Mitchelton Winery is seeking an experienced Cellar Hand to join our dedicated team. If you have a keen eye for detail and are looking to expand your knowledge and experience, this is a great opportunity. We are focussing on small batch, premium wines and work with over 12 varieties of both red and white wine grapes. Our fruit is predominately sourced from our Estate Vineyard with small parcels from other Victorian regions.
As a Cellar Hand, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our wines with input into all aspects of the winemaking from grape to bottle.
Duties include, but are not limited to;
- Wine transfer, racking & blending
- Barrel work
- Wine maintenance
- Cellar Sanitation
- Operation of facility equipment
- Forklift operation
- Grape processing during vintage
We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn. At least two harvests of previous experience in a cellar or winery environment is required. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute to the creation of exceptional wines, we want to hear from you!
