Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) Technician
Casual Position
The Role
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced CSSD Technicians to join our friendly, supportive Operating Theatre Team who pride themselves on delivering high quality patient care.
Reporting to the Operating Theatre Manager the CSSD Technician assists in the delivery of patient care under the direction of the nursing and medical staff. The CSSD Technician is exposed to a broad range of complex acute and medical services that Maryvale Private Hospital provides.
Essential Criteria
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel.
- Strong teamwork focus.
- Effective time Management or organisational skills.
- Commitment to quality and risk management.
Desirable Criteria
- Current CSSD Technician experience within the health sector.
- Experience in maintaining and using relevant CSSD Equipment.
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistant, or studying towards.
- Certificate III in Sterilisation or above.
