What you'll do
The Centralised Data Lead works end-to-end across our Ecosystem to ensure we capture, validate and ingest quality and timely Product Data to support our strategy. The main purpose of this position is to oversee and support the quality ingestion of Product Data for utilisation in our downstream systems.
This role involves ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality, as well as establishing data governance practices and standards. In the Centralised Data Lead position, you'll be responsible for driving Product data-related initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and making data-driven decisions to improve business processes and decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Data Strategy, Governance, Accuracy, Security and Quality.
- Data Integration: Managing the integration of Product data across different systems and platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Reporting, Analytics, Process Improvement and Change Management: Generating reports and analytics to support Product data-driven decision-making and improvements.
- Training and Education: Providing training and education to the Team on Product data management best practices and data-related tools and technologies.
- Team Leadership: Growing competencies, sharing data passion across the team and the ecosystem.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate:
- Solid expertise in data management, Analytics, ML, and data services solutions, with the ability to predict future opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI-CD tools, GCP and Azure Cloud.
- Leadership experience ideally within technically diverse teams, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven exposure to leadership responsibilities and driving change within either a Retail or Data driven environment.
- Problem-solving skills, professionalism, and comfort in senior leadership forums.
