This Job opportunity is Part-Time, Monday to Friday for 25 hours per week.
Essential Criteria for Successful Applicants:
- Efficient and capable of cooking with the ability to follow a set menu.
- Experienced in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management and budget control.
- Strict about complying with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Able to cater for individual child requirements including allergies and specific dietary requirements.
- Keen to participate in the early educational opportunities of teaching children about healthy food by sharing in lessons and family events.
- Possess a professional and enthusiastic attitude.
- Help nourish the children in our care with your culinary expertise as well as any input you may have to contribute towards growing our own fresh produce.
- Be a positive person who will develop strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the community.
- Have a current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
- Current Food Safety Certificate (or willing to obtain).
- Have a current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willing to obtain).
- Experience or education within an early childhood setting will be highly regarded.
