The role:
Knight Frank Australia is looking for a Centre Manager or a Retail Manager that is ready for a new challenge. With Delacombe Town Centre & Ocean Grove as the portfolio under your remit, experience within retail centre management as well as being able to build long-term relationships with tenants will be vital to your success.
The role involves establishing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with retailers and ensuring the trading environment is well presented, safe and an inviting destination for customers.
This role will be based at the Delacombe Town Centre with travel to Ocean Grove once a fortnight.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide support in administering the requirements of leases and licenses
- Managing and keeping tenancy schedules accurate
- Assist in the preparation of annual income and expenditure budgets
- Manage and maintain bank guarantees
- Regular centre inspection to ensure the highest level of presentation
- Monitor and follow up any maintenance related queries and works
- Establish strong relationships with occupiers including managing any complaints
- Provide CAPEX recommendations to the FM team
- Provide marketing and promotional activity support
- Arrears management
- Monthly financial reporting
- Expense forecasting
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience in the Property industry (Retail management essential)
- Relevant education
- Certificate of Registration / Agent’s Rep (essential)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong and demonstrated ability to build relationships
- Customer centric approach
- Proven time management and organisational skill
- Current Driver’s license (essential) and access to a car
- Knowledge of Centre operations
