CENTRE MANAGER POSITION DESCRIPTION RIGS BROOKVALE & AQUA CULTURE SWIM
The Centre Manager, will work collaboratively with the General Manager to assume responsibility for the operations, maintenance, general day-to-day objectives, and tasks required to operate both Rigs Brookvale and Aqua Culture Swim.
This position will report to the General Manager.

Primary Role Objectives
Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee the daily operations in the centre
Manage all Rigs Brookvale staff including the recruitment, development and retention of staff
Rostering for all Rigs Brookvale staff
Manage documents for all new team member including CPR, First Aid, employee handbook and
training checklist
Lead a weekly team meeting with Rigs Brookvale permanent staff
Communicate the procedures and policies with all Rigs Brookvale staff members
Conduct bi-annual performance reviews with all Rigs Brookvale staff members
Uphold the standards of excellence within the Centre, including but not limited to, daily operations, equipment maintenance, plant room operations, customer service and cleanliness
Assist the General Manager with the Centre pool maintenance, including Aqua Culture Swim, when required
Be proactive with regular equipment maintenance and resolving issues quickly when there is a fault
Follow the maintenance schedule to ensure treatments are getting serviced when required and manage services with suppliers
Manage Rigs Brookvale member enquires and events
Demographic and gender modelling
Prepare a weekly Rigs Brookvale report on Monday morning for the Management
Assist staff with bookings, enquiries and complaints
Show enthusiasm and a lead by example attitude when on the floor and engaged in customer service
Ensure the standard of cleanliness in the centre is upheld daily
Order equipment, merchandise, uniforms, toiletries etc
Manage all Rigs Brookvale affiliations
Manage Aqua Culture Swim External Pool Bookings
Manage Rigs Brookvale Affiliation Group Bookings
Coordinate and manage Rigs Brookvale events and mobile units
Assist with implementing marketing campaigns, specials, affiliations, business and community development
Inform the General Manager daily on business performance and any issues that may arise
Lead a positive working environment where team members feel comfortable, are developed
and feel supported to discuss any issues they might have
Contribute to the growth and development of Rigs Brookvale and the Aqua Culture Swim Program
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans in both businesses
Other duties as required to meet business objectives or as directed by the General Manager

Current FIRST AID / CPR Qualification

Desirable Qualifications
Tertiary education
Completion of a Leadership or management course
Proven ability to effectively manage a successful team

Classification: Level 6 Hours of Work
The Centre Manager will be employed on a permanent basis to work an average of 38 hours per week
This position will involve weekend work
From time to time the position might require a 6-day working week. Time in Lieu will be provided in
this instance

Essential Requirements
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Drivers Licence
- Tertiary Qualification in relevant area
- Understanding of Swim School operations
- Knowledge of wellness industry and recovery modalities
