About the Role
Learning Together Communities (LTC) provides a network of supported and community playgroups and parent education services for families with children aged birth to 4 years aiming to increase children’s early literacy, numeracy, development and engagement with learning by supporting families as their children’s first teachers.
The Learning Together Community Manager is a LTC local based leadership position responsible for the outcomes of the LTC program within their Learning Together community. They provide Learning Together related leadership, support and advice to LTC staff, and work in collaboration with the Program Manager, Playgroups, LTC Program Officer and relevant Local Education Teams and partnerships to deliver LTC programs.
The Mid NorthLearning Together Community hub is based at Airdale Primary School in Port Pirie. The Mid NorthLearning Together Community Hub Manager position will work primarily from Airdale Primary School. The Mid NorthLearning Together Community Hub Manager will line-manage educators working from outreaches based at the Lower Yorke Peninsula, Port Lincoln, Port Augusta, Whyalla and Port Pirie.
Qualifications
Essential: Current full teacher registration or able to be registered to teach in South Australia.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
STL2: $126,217 per annum plus superannuation.
