The Child Development Institute, is an Autism specific Early Intervention and Psychology Practice with a new centre in Beacon Hill. We are looking for a Centre Manager to join our team and contribute to offering much needed Early Intervention programs & Psychology services for children and families in the Northern Beaches Community.
We deliver the Early Start Denver Model, an evidence-based intervention specifically developed for young children with autism. Programs delivered within the centre include social therapy group programs, clinics, school readiness and parent coaching. We offer programs external to the centre to support children in community settings as well as psychology clinics and Autism Diagnostic Services.
About the Role:
In this role you will lead the Operational aspects of the centre, working closely with the centre’s Clinical Manager.
You will report to the Operations Director who oversees 2 centres.
This is a Monday - Friday role,
but with shorter working hours of 8.30am – 3.30pm.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling of staff and child appointments and enrolments
- Developing relationships with families and children enrolled in our programs
- Managing the enrolment and re-enrolment processes for new and existing children
- Managing new enquiries, conducting centre tours and managing waitlist
- Co-ordinating family events and communication
- Facilitating parent tours and information sessions covering the Early Intervention programs we offer
- Gathering regular customer feedback from families
- Facilities management
- Management of centre budgets
- Implementation of policies and procedures in everyday operations
- Maximising staff utilisation
- Guiding families through the NDIS process
- Front desk management for mornings, office work in afternoons
- Possess exceptional communication and administration skills
- Have an ability to juggle enrolment / scheduling changes and autonomously develop solutions to changes
- Have 3 years’ experience working in management of an early childhood / OSH service within a leadership or coordination role
- Have excellent rapport and relationship building skills with families
- Be flexible with changing priorities
- Are an enthusiastic team-player looking to join a co-operative team
- Are process driven and solutions focused
- Have excellent computer skills particularly in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Have the ability to manage time and set priorities
