An exciting opportunity to become a member of our Tamworth Branch of The iconic Century Yuasa Batteries.
We are a family-run business servicing Tamworth and the New England Region for the last 35 years. We seek an exceptional Sales and Service Representative / Warehouse all-rounder to join our team.
As part of this team, know that every day is different. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- General day-to-day warehouse duties
- Picking and Packing stock
- deliveries
- Being involved in all facets of our busy Tamworth-based Agency, servicing the New England and Northwest Area in Regional NSW.
As a Service and Sales Representative for this fantastic company, your primary role is to provide exceptional customer service to a large existing customer base throughout the area, build on these established relationships, and look for potential new business opportunities while working in a busy operation distribution warehouse.
Skills and experience
The Successful applicant must have the following attributes:
- Must be motivated,
- a self-starter who can work within a team and unsupervised.
- Someone willing to continue to learn and develop skills and knowledge every day related to the role
- . As well as someone who can deliver exceptional customer service.
The role requires someone with a Driver's License and a Forklift license.
Knowledge of automotive batteries or mechanical experience and or warehousing experience would be highly advantageous, although not essential, as all training will be provided.
The job requires manual handling of batteries, so the ability to handle automotive batteries of a heavy nature is also a must.
Overnight Travel may also be required for regional deliveries at certain times, with all expenses covered.
