The time has come to replace their successful long-term CEO. This is an opportunity for a planned and smooth transition of leadership, made possible by excellent relationships and cohesion at executive and board levels. The owners are looking for a new leader to continue their long-standing success, further energise relationships with staff, suppliers and customers and provide the vision and strategy to capitalise on emerging market and technology product opportunities to deliver the next phase of company growth.The key hiring criteria for this role is:
- Must have experience in Technology Distribution, supply chain, retail or related businesses.
- Understanding the dynamics of working in a mid-sized privately owned business. Suitablity to work in a hands-on capacity within an SME business.
- Strong alignment with the culture of integrity, honesty, trust and relationship building, which the business has been built on. These values will be reflected in a natural chemistry between the selected candidate and with the business owners and board.
- You will be an amazing problem solver and business operator who offers expert leadership, business development, relationship building (customers, staff, suppliers), commercial and marketing skills. B2B business and channel sales experience would be ideal.
- Passion to build a business, with a proven and relevant track record of setting company vision and strategy then leading step change growth.
- A deep understanding of emerging IT (e.g. AI) & technology market landscapes, to be able to provide the vision and strategy to capitalise on new customer and technology product growth opportunities.
- An optimist and entrepreneur with an energising and visionary leadership style.
