iChoose Support Coordination is a local registered NDIS provider that works to empower our clientele to gain confidence and control. We offer Support Coordination services to NDIS participants within the Darling Downs.
We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic trainee to join our team on a full-time basis (Mon-Fri).
If you are looking to start your career in the Community Services Industry in a well-supported and professional environment, this is the position for you. Successful applicants will be offered an 18-month contract to complete all assigned training requirements to receive their Certificate IV in Community Services.
The position will be available for an immediate start for the successful applicant.
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Answering the phone and directing to appropriate people
- Taking messages and managing emails
- Data entry, filing and scanning
- Customer service – in person and over the phone
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative programs
- Assist team members with tasks relating to NDIS participants
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Be well presented, professional, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Be motivated with a positive attitude
- Have a high attention to detail and a great phone manner
- Have general computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Driver’s licence and own transport preferred
- First Aid and CPR certificates or ability to obtain
- Blue card and NDIS Worker Screening or the ability to obtain
