AddressKenthurst Preschool is looking forward to welcoming a new Certificate 3 colleague to our community based preschool. The position will begin Term 3, 2024 (22nd July, 2024) and will be contracted till 18th December, 2024 and there may be an opportunity for this to become a more permanent position in the future.

We are looking for new team members who can work collaboratively within a professional context to build positive and caring relationships with children, families, staff, and our community.
Our new team members, in collaboration with the classroom Early Childhood Teacher, will work together to facilitate and deliver an exciting and engaging program that is play-based and makes connections to children's interests and prior knowledge.
Position 1 – Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday Educator (9-3pm)
Requirements:
- Studying / Completed Certificate lll
- Desirable 2 years’ experience in an early childhood setting but not essential for the right applicant.
- Desirable previous Inclusion Support experience.
- Current and ACECQA approved First Aid qualification, asthma, and anaphylaxis management certificate.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current Child Protection qualification - Identify and Respond to Young People at Risk CCHPRT00.
The successful applicant/s will be warm and friendly with:
- A knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- The ability to meaningfully document and plan for children's learning with the guidance of the classroom teacher.
- Willingness and ability to work with technology.
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities that occur at the preschool.
- Empathy and a willingness to support and engage with children with additional needs.
