Seeking an experienced Change Manager to work with a globally renowned organisation on their digital journey

Hays is working with one of its long-term partnered clients, synonymous with the Canberra landscape, and a globally recognised institution. Working in the Higher Education sector, our client has embarked on a Digital Transformation journey which requires expertly delivered, precise Change Management.
Your new role
As Change Manager, you will be coming into a newly created role to help drive operational standards of the Change Management Chapter within the organisation. A massive part of this role is strategic in nature, and will have an Organisational (Technology) view and be applying Change Management practices amongst a wide variety of stakeholders. You will work in a team of around 10, with a shared ambition to create an industry-leading Change Management operation and practise. Preaching the value proposition of change will be important, as well as bringing internal stakeholders along for the journey. Working in a matrix Chapter approach, you will be representing the large IT Section of the organisation to continue to drive delivery of the well-publicized Digital Transformation strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
Hays, along with our client, are seeking experienced Change Managers who can come in and make an instant impact. Experience in complex environments would be useful, as well as demonstrated ability to contribute to setting a strictly adhered to governance of the Change Management framework.
Other key skill sets and experience being sought include:- Strategic nous, and the ability to influence senior and junior stakeholders
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to drive a point home in a clear, concise manner
- Insight or experience dealing in an academic environment, or the ability to provide Change Management to a diverse internal customer setting
