  • 12 month position at 0.8 FTE
  • Salary range $103,443 - $109,371 (pro rata) + superannuation + salary packaging benefits
  • Work in a collaborative team across Melbourne’s West + flexible hybrid working model

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Change Partner to be at the forefront of working alongside passionate teams to guide meaningful change that benefits client experience and outcomes. 

Reporting to the Service Model Transformation Lead, this role forms part of the Service Model Transformation team within the Strategy and Growth directorate.

This role will apply a combination of diagnostic and dialogical change management models within organisational context.  This includes overseeing the development of change outputs such as change management frameworks and plans, communication and engagement plans, training plans and any other relevant operational outputs.

This position will play a key role in the successful transition from current to future state ways of working that enables the workforce to engage, create and use changes for sustainable service model improvements.

As an experienced change agent guiding organisations through emergent change, this role will support iterative projects that use Agile approaches and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to build coalitions of ‘change champions’ as workforce participation will play an integral part to enable enhancements.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading the people side of change within complex environments and is an effective and inspiring communicator.

The ideal candidate will have experience in change roles, a high degree of emotional intelligence and is someone who enjoys working in a team environment. 

You will make a difference by

  • Successfully build the capability of teams to implement service improvements along the client journey which support:
  • Improved client experience, client outcomes, service access and navigation, care co-ordination, employee experience and workflow efficiencies.
  • Having a deep understanding of diagnostic and dialogic change management models and their application within IPC Health’s organisational development context.
  • Crafting meaningful change and powerful cultural shifts organization wide.
  • Guiding emergent, generative change processes of co-dependent systems within complex environments.
  • Playing a key role in the successful transition from current to future state ways of working that enables the workforce to engage, create and use changes for sustainable outcomes.
  • Taking a people focused approach as workforce participation will play an integral part to enable changes.
  • Working with staff to build coalitions of ‘change champions’.
  • Regularly reporting on achievements, challenges and limitations.
  • Contributing to Scrum, Kanban and Agile ceremonies.
  • Fostering an environment that supports experimentation and learning.

To succeed you will need

  • Qualifications in change management, human resources, psychology or organisational behaviour, business administration or related discipline preferred.
  • Deep understanding of diagnostic and dialogic change management principles, methods, tools, communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, organisational culture and leadership techniques.
  • Experience guiding emergent change within the health, social services and/or not for profit sectors (desirable).
  • A dialogic mindset for generative change.
  • Experience working on iterative projects that use Agile approaches.
  • Experience leading the people side of change within complex environments.
  • Exposure to the Berkana Two Loop Model.
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • Effective communication, engagement and negotiation skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • A current and valid Victorian Driver’s License

This position is part time, fixed term for 12 months and classified as Grade 5 (HS5) (above award) under the HEALTH AND ALLIED SERVICES, MANAGERS AND ADMINISTRATIVE WORKERS (VICTORIAN STAND-ALONE COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES (MULTI EMPLOYER) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2022 – 2026
