The Opportunity:
As National Channel Manager, you steer the strategic direction of the Pharmacy and Optical channels in head office based role, whilst mentoring a national team of Customer Service, Sales Representatives and Sales Agents. You will manage their key account base, liaising with their largest banner groups, buying groups and core brand stockists.
You will drive sales, ranging, promotions, supply and brand direction. All this will be supported by an experienced Senior BDM and the assistance of a fantastic locally based Global Sales Director to help achieve outstanding commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales & Market Share: Grow partnerships, develop sales strategies, and increase brand presence across accounts.
- People Leadership: Inspire, motivate and guide a winning national channel team to success.
- Forecast & Planning: Manage weekly forecasts and P&L, collaborate with planners, and ensure stock fulfilment.
- Marketing & Activation: Partner with marketing to create campaigns, training, and incentives for sales growth.
- Customer Focus: Manage customer service teams, gather store insights, and conduct competitor analysis.
- Visual Merchandising: Oversee visual merchandising strategies and budgets for partner stores.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish strong relationships with key accounts to resolve issues and explore opportunities.
- Proposal & Negotiation: Develop compelling sales proposals and negotiate trading terms.
- Communication & Collaboration: Proactively communicate with internal departments to achieve business goals.
You're a perfect fit if you:
- Have been a Channel Manager, Senior Sales Manager or National Account Manager within Pharmacy or Optical
- Have experience working with Head Office at major Pharmacy groups or Optical
- Possess strong leadership and negotiation skills, building trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Are data-driven, using insights to inform strategic decisions and drive exceptional results.
- Are passionate about the eyewear industry and possess a deep understanding of the retail landscape.
- Embrace fashion and style, with your finger on the pulse for the latest trends.
- You have a sound understanding of forecasting, budgeting and commercial modelling.
Salary:
$140,000 - $150,000 base + Super and uncapped bonus.
