The Digital Business Analysis Chapter is responsible for creating an amazing environment for our Chapter Members to learn and grow within the Business Analysis craft. We learn and grow together by applying the best methods within Agile Business Analysis standards across the Agile enterprise.

Your day in the life of a Chapter LeadDigital Business Analysis at Optus

  • Lead and mentor a Chapter of a large number of Digital BA’s working within the B2B context by uniting the Chapter around a common vision and deliver a sense of community, support and learning.
  • Collaborate with other Chapter Leads to deliver an amazing place to work and uplift in Business Analysis and agile delivery capability through contribution as a groundbreaking leader.
  • Partner with business partners including Tribe Leads, Product Owners, Product Managers, the Business and IT to identify and support delivery of strategic priorities by utilising the best standard processes ensuring visibility, accuracy, traceability, collaboration and business continuity.
  • Demonstrate the use of a broad toolkit of Business requirement visualisation techniques including Customer Journey Mapping, Business Process flows and Roadmaps to forge collaboration
  • Craft consistency through setting Business Analysis Best Practice Standards with ongoing refinement.

  • Relevant professional qualifications and extensive hands-on experience.
  • An advocate, influencer and role model for Agile values, approaches, and behaviours
  • Is a proactive, positive, and dedicated innovator with Customer & User experience front of mind.
  • Is confident facilitating prioritisation, estimation, and planning ceremonies.
  • Can inspire, coach, and provide positive reinforcement to team members to help them grow in their chosen craft.
  • Has a passion for mentoring and provide support not only to their Chapter members put to all within the Agile organisation.
  • Is a natural problem solver, analytical mind and out-of-the-box thinker who can always find opportunities from challenges.
  • Is highly organised, resourceful, and reliable with an eye for detail.
