We’re looking for out of the box thinkers who want to use technology to work on real-world problems that have the potential to change the lives of our 17 million+ customers.The successful applicant will join a team tasked to manage Secrets (e.g API keys, service accounts…) for the bank. You will drive the automation and continuous improvement of the services through a DevOps model.The Chapter Lead acts as an Engineering Manager and is accountable for leading a team of Systems Engineers and will have around 8-10 direct reports. The responsibilities of this will role include:

• Attracting, hiring and retaining industry-best Systems Engineering talent with positive engagement.
• Building a world class Engineering Culture.
• Developing the technical, interpersonal and leadership skills of the Engineering teams in a structured way.
• Contributing to thought leadership on Systems Engineering best practices.
• Technical design, engineering & quality practices; and accountability for adoption across Systems Engineering teams.
• Someone who likes to be hands on and collaborate with other engineers. Coding not expected but active participation in stand ups, design documentation, PR reviews are expected.
• Promoting CBA and developing our value proposition as a Systems Engineering employer of choice.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:Note: We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;

• Have a strong track record with leading technology teams and uplifting engineering culture.
• Have good system design/architecture knowledge.
• Have very good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Have a growth mindset and can drive continuous improvements.
• Possesses hands-on technical experience in AWS.
• Have good understanding of Docker container and Kubernetes technology.
• API development and integrations.
• Is familiar with various scripting/programming languages such as; Python, Rust (for code review)
• Is experienced with tools like version control systems, CI/CD, IaC frameworks.
• Optional, having knowledge with Hashicorp Vault and/or IAM in general.
