- Provide leadership of the planning or treatment unit at our high performing and patient-centric at our centre with Greenslopes Private Hospital
- Mentor our Senior/Base Grade RT’s, with support from our experienced Clinical Lead RT and Site Manager
- Support Exceptional Patient Care with Cutting-Edge Technology- Varian TrueBeam w/ Exactrac, Varian Ethos w/ Identify, Esteya Superficial Unit, Siemens Go.Sim CT, Eclipse Planning, ARIA IOS; and
- Advanced Therapy Techniques: Stereotactic, DIBH, IMRT, VMAT.
- Excellent REM + 5 Weeks Annual Leave + PD Allowance
- Permanent Full Time Position, Monday-Friday

About the Role:
We are seeking a full time Charge Level Radiation Therapist to join our centre in Greenslopes
The successful candidate will be responsible for the unit’s clinical operation and will require an ongoing commitment to the provision of technical supervision and support for all on-site Radiation Therapists. This role will report to the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist and operate in a full-time capacity, working 76 hours per fortnight over a 9-day fortnight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and support to the Radiation Therapist team.
- Deliver high quality radiation therapy treatment and planning services for patients.
- Apply effective resource and workflow management strategies to optimise quality, efficiency and productivity through a patient centric and collaborative approach.
- Active involvement and leadership in developing the local radiation therapy service.
- Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
- Exhibit strong decision-making abilities.
- Be involved in initiatives and implementation of new technology to deliver training.

Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrates a commitment to the provision of exceptional patient care.
- Demonstrable leadership capacity to work effectively and positively as a senior member of the Multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services.
- Apply effective communication and interpersonal skills to represent Icon in a strong and positive manner to all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capacity to identify new quality improvement opportunities, implement and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
- Valid General Registration with AHPRA as a Radiation Therapist.
- Current Queensland Radiation Use License
- Adequate professional indemnity insurance as required by AHPRA.
- Experience with Eclipse planning treatment system.
