The DOOLEYS Group consists of two Clubs and a Gym in Western Sydney, and we are seeking an Apprentice Chef.
The role of an Apprentice Chef is to ensure the production and delivery of meals and services reflective of the department and reflective of the clubs’ operational expectations, under the guidance of a qualified Chef or Cook.
To be considered for this role you must possess the following:
- Delivery of exceptional customer experiences through the provision of all food services across the Club
- Be studying in the culinary space.
- Working effectively with the BOH Team and as well as with FOH Staff
- Cleaning, preparing and portioning food accurately according to HACCP and Hygiene Safety Principles
- Portioning, plating, and serving food according to Hygiene Safety Principles
- Conducting all opening, operating, and closing duties
- Ensuring all documentation related to transfers and wastage is completed daily.
- Providing effective and efficient control over kitchen facilities
- Ensuring careful and accurate handling of stock and equipment
- Working across multiple shifts when necessary
- Ensuring food intended for display in public areas is displayed neatly and at an appropriate temperature.
